Discretionary Management

We offer our clients a choice of seven differenct investment portfolios investing in a range of collective investment funds (but not direct securities - with the possible exception of exchange-traded funds (ETF's) and investment trusts as a form of collective).

Discretionary Management means that Chartwell Private Client takes all the responsibility and makes all the investment decisions on your behalf, providing you with the opportunity to benefit from our expertise and resources.  Our seven portfolios offer different strategies designed to meet the wide-ranging needs of investors.  They are structured according to the Chartwell investment approach, which focuses on high quality long term investment and we believe they offer a compelling solution for investors.

Our discretionary service reduces the amount of paperwork for you.  In addition, we currently do not impose any explicit charge for managing your money on a discretionary basis and each of the investment funds within the portfolios can be purchased at Net Asset Value (NAV) so that all ofyour money is working from day one.  Furthermore, when any rebalancing of your discretionary managed portfolio is required, you will not incur a charge for any of the changes which we make.
